Clearview Alum Ryan Vargo Returns to Lead Baseball Program

CLEARVIEW ALUM RYAN VARGO RETURNS TO LEAD BASEBALL PROGRAM

Clearview Athletics is excited to welcome Ryan Vargo as the new head coach of the Clipper baseball program. A 2013 Clearview High School graduate, Vargo was a standout four-year letterman on the baseball team. Following his time at Clearview, he continued his baseball career at the collegiate level, playing two years at Tiffin University before transferring to Gannon University for his final three seasons. During his time at Gannon, Vargo made a lasting mark on the program — ranking among the top 25 all-time in pitching appearances despite playing only three seasons. After his collegiate career, Vargo began his coaching journey at Midview High School, where he served as the Head JV Coach for three seasons. He then spent the past four years as a Varsity Assistant at Westlake High School, gaining valuable experience in player development and program leadership. In addition to his high school coaching roles, Vargo has also coached with Force Ohio Baseball, one of the region’s premier travel baseball organizations. Clearview Athletics is proud to have Coach Vargo return to his alma mater, bringing his passion, experience, and commitment to excellence back to the Clipper baseball program.
