LC8 MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
The LC8 Middle School Girls Basketball Tournament is set to tip off this weekend, and both Clearview teams are ready for postseason action. With strong regular-season performances and competitive matchups ahead, the Clippers are looking to make a deep tournament run.
7th Grade – #4 Seed
Clearview’s 7th Grade team enters the tournament as the fourth seed and will face fifth-seeded Oberlin on Saturday at 10:15 a.m. The game will be held at the Black River Education Center.
The winner of this matchup will advance to play the winner of Keystone vs. Black River on December 16. With balanced scoring and a drive to compete, the 7th graders will look to set the tone early and continue their momentum into the semifinals.
8th Grade – #3 Seed
The third-seeded 8th Grade Clippers will take on sixth-seeded Firelands at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at Columbia Middle School.
A victory would send Clearview to the next round, where they would face the winner of Keystone vs. Wellington on December 16. The 8th grade squad has shown resilience and toughness throughout the season, and they’re poised to make a strong showing in tournament play.
Clearview Athletics wishes both teams the best of luck as they begin their LC8 tournament journey. Come out, support our Clippers, and be part of the energy as postseason basketball gets underway!
